Pantheon

this spring went on a city break to Rome. advice- allow minimum 5 days for such visit as 3 days was certainly not enough. pantheon is one of the gems, must see. architecture, style , atmosphere- nothing can pass it though correctly . only seeing with your own eyes !

we visited during lockdown 2020. This place is beautiful and full of history. well worth a visit. Rome has so much to see. This is definitely in the top 5 things to see. There are also so many shops and restaurants in the area so you can really take it all in and enjoy your time there.

Entering the Pantheon, I was enveloped by a sense of ancient grandeur and architectural mastery. The sunlight filtering through the oculus illuminated the vast interior, highlighting the intricate details of the marble columns and mosaic-adorned floor. As I gazed upwards, the dome soared above, a marvel of engineering that seemed to touch the heavens. Exploring the niches and alcoves, each housing statues of Roman gods and emperors, I felt transported back in time to the height of the Roman Empire. The atmosphere was serene yet awe-inspiring, with every corner revealing a new facet of its storied past. Exiting into the bustling streets of Rome, I carried with me a profound appreciation for the Pantheon’s beauty and history, a day etched in my memory as a testament to human creativity and ingenuity.
