The Yunshishan Revolutionary Sites are located in Yunshishan Township, 19 kilometers west of Ruijin City. Yunshishan is a small hill protruding from the flat ground, no more than 50 meters high and less than a kilometer in radius. It is surrounded by cliffs on all sides. There is only a 100-step stone path that can bend and pass through. There are also two stone gates in the middle of the path, which has the momentum of "one man guarding the pass, ten thousand men cannot open it". In July 1934, the leadership organs such as the Provisional Central Government, the Central Bureau of the Communist Party of China and the Central Revolutionary Military Commission moved from Shazhouba to Yunshishan (formerly known as Gaoweinao) area. This is the last stop of the Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic in Ruijin. On the evening of October 10 of the same year, the Central Red Army took the first step of the Long March from here. Therefore, Yunshishan is called "the first mountain of the Long March".
