Stone monument of potato coins
Original Text
It is a monument created to commemorate the Japanese painter Ogawa Imosen. It is near the Ogawa Imosen Memorial Hall, so it is recommended to visit it as a set.
It was built by his friend near the house where a painter named Ogawa Imosen lived. Ogawa seems to have loved Ushikunuma very much, and there was also a picture with a kappa motif.
I drove from Ayameen in Ushikunuma. It was a detour, but it was easier to understand than going from Tokugetsuin. There is also a parking lot (about 5 cars), and a kappa monument stands on the far right. You can see Ushikunuma a little from between the trees 々, but I think it looked better in the past. There was also a bench, but there were many mosquitoes, so I didn't feel like sitting and relaxing. There is also a cloud fish tei nearby, so it is recommended to visit as a set. Unyu Tei is open for free, but please check the closed days and times and go out ...
If you go along the promenade [Kappa no Komichi] in Ushikunuma, you will find the atelier Unyu-tei in Ogawa Imosen, the statue of Kappa at Ayameen in Kappa Matsu / Ayameen, and the coffee shop where you can find Kappa Fe.
