Old Market Square (Alter Markt)

The German for the Old Austrian Square is alter markt, located on the north side of the Bishop's Palace in Salzburg, next to the Bishop's Square. Salzburg is surprisingly beautiful. This is one of Austria’s gems and we couldn’t be happier to include it on our Europe DIY tour last June. The old city tour with the horse carriage was a highlight.
