Presidio of San Francisco

The fortress park is not far from the Golden Gate Bridge. The park has a large grassy area, which is very beautiful. It used to be a military place and was only opened to the public later. You can also overlook the Golden Gate Bridge.

Many people didn’t even realize that the Barracks National Park was taken over by a trustee. There are restaurants, nature trails, 3 museums (military history, gold rush history, and Disney) and a very charming hotel in the old BOQ. The whole area is child friendly and pet friendly! Bring the ball, kite, and bike!

San Francisco Fortress Park is a century-old park, with views of the bay and panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, quite spectacular.
