Buck Canyon Overlook is worth a quick stop for the view of the canyon and, on a clear day, the distant La Sal Mountains, which had snow on them when we visited in mid-October.

Not as Interesting as Other Observation Points

All the observation points provide amazing views of Canyonlands National Park, but if you're pressed for time, you can probably give this one a miss.

Excellent View

Buck Canyon was one of the best overlooks off the main road of the park. It’s a short walk from the parking lot, maybe 200 or 300 feet. Totally worth the stop.
