The village of Sault has preserved some medieval alleys and some beautiful old shop windows. There is a market here every Wednesday morning, which has been going on since 1515. The area where Sault is located is also famous for lavender, but due to the high altitude, the flowering season is relatively late, and purple lavender can generally be seen in August. The famous lavender festival is also held here every year, fixed on August 15th.
