Guangqi Park

Guangqi Park is located on Nandan Road, Xuhui District, very close to Xujiahui Station of Metro Line 1. It is a memorial to Xu Guangqi, a famous scientist at the end of the Ming Dynasty. Xu Guangqi is a pioneer in researching and introducing Western science. The cemetery has the tomb of Xu Guangqi and his wife and 4 grandchildren, and the tombstone is erected in front of the tomb. There is a bust of Xu Guangqi. Here is the origin of Xu Jiahui's name.

Guangqi Park is to commemorate the park opened by Xu Guangqi. There is also Xu Guangqi's cemetery inside. The park is open and you can go in and walk around. There is a tomb of Mr. Guangqi. More special. This tomb is a cross.

I have been here four or five years ago. Now the Xu Guangqi Memorial Hall inside has to scan the code to register and wear a mask to visit. It is so troublesome and stuffy. I don't like it very much. It is still the most comfortable to turn around naturally outdoors. The sky is so good, and the tombs don't look so cloudy. The path in the garden is quiet, the pond has revealed a trace of spring, and the tomb road of Xu Guangqi Cemetery is still the first time to walk completely. It can be seen that the renovation is getting better and better now. The small bridge steps at the entrance of the park are the best location for panoramic views, but the background of the high-rise buildings in the distance is really impossible to avoid.

光启公园，位于上海市徐家汇地区南丹路17号，因明朝大科学家徐光启之墓在此而得名。徐家汇也是因徐家后人聚居于此而得名。徐光启，上海人，明朝万历年间进士，崇祯年间，官至礼部尚书兼文渊阁大学士、内阁次辅。天主教徒，很早就师从利玛窦学习西方科学技术，为17世纪中西文化交流作出了重要贡献。光启公园面积不大，但闹中取静，古树森森。还有一个挺大的荷塘，夏季，荷塘开满睡莲，安静美丽。
