Guangqi Park

Guangqi Park is located on Nandan Road, Xuhui District, very close to Xujiahui Station of Metro Line 1. It is a memorial to Xu Guangqi, a famous scientist at the end of the Ming Dynasty. Xu Guangqi is a pioneer in researching and introducing Western science. The cemetery has the tomb of Xu Guangqi and his wife and 4 grandchildren, and the tombstone is erected in front of the tomb. There is a bust of Xu Guangqi. Here is the origin of Xu Jiahui's name.

Guangqi Park is to commemorate the park opened by Xu Guangqi. There is also Xu Guangqi's cemetery inside. The park is open and you can go in and walk around. There is a tomb of Mr. Guangqi. More special. This tomb is a cross.

The small bridge steps at the entrance of the park are the best location for panoramic views, but the background of the high-rise buildings in the distance is really impossible to avoid.
