May is Sennen Fuji
Original Text
An uninhabited shrine in Yamazaki-cho, Shiba City. It is near Shiba City Hall, but it is about a 15-minute walk from Himeji Station by bus at Yamazaki Bus Terminal. There is a large wisteria tree in the precincts, which is said to be 1,000 years old, and around the beginning of May every year, long wisteria blooms throughout the wisteria shelf. A wisteria festival is also held in the precincts when it is in full bloom, and it is crowded with many people. Wisteria bunches hang down all over the precincts, and it is full of the scent of wisteria flowers.
I visited G.W because I wanted to guide a friend from afar. The flowers are in full bloom, but there is no parking lot nearby. There is only a parking lot far away, so I dropped only my friends near Otoshi Shrine, and I couldn't go to Otoshi Shrine and parked nearby and waited. I'm very sorry. But no matter what I thought, I couldn't feel like walking from such a far parking lot.
It's a quiet shrine with no one usually, but many people come when Fuji flowers bloom. Locals volunteer to guide parking to open spaces. People who see wisteria also collect cooperation money. It was a very splendid Fuji tree.
