The castle of Pelles is located in a small town called Sinaia, about 130 kilometers north of Bucharest, Romania's capital, and is the last summer palace built by the king of Romania, with impressive wood carving.
The most impressive thing here is the Peres Palace, the summer palace of the king during the imperial period. The architecture is typical of the Byzantine style. The displays, furniture, and artworks in the palace retain the style of the year and are worth seeing.
This is the palace of the last emperor of Romania, Karl I (1839-1914), built here because the summer mountain cool can escape the heat. Karl I was the German prince before he ascended to the throne, so he built this palace in a purely German Renaissance style, but it was the first modern palace in Europe, with a running water system, a central heating and an elevator, but it was not completed until his death. Now this is the most popular attraction in Romania, the palace and outside are crowded by tourists from all over the country. There are two kinds of tickets, 30Ron (65 RMB) is 45 minutes to visit, 60Ron (130 RMB) can visit for an hour and a half. The palace doesn't seem to be big from the outside, but it sounds very shocking afterward, because the interior is very luxuriously decorated, full of sculptures and paintings, which is dizzying. Very worth a visit, highly recommended!
Sinaya, a small town of South Carpathia, about 130 km north of Bucharest, Romania. This neo-Renaissance building was built between 1873 and 1914. The castle covers an area of 3,200 square meters and has 168 rooms, each divided into different themes about world culture according to style and purpose. Of these, 35 rooms are open to the public, that is, the museum in the basement and the rooms on the first floor can be visited. The Romanian castle of Pelles was once the summer palace of King Carlos and is considered one of the most beautiful castles in the world.
Really a fairytale beautiful castle. Every angle is a painting, the sculpture is very beautiful, although after years of baptism, but at a glance, you can see how beautiful the original appearance. Definitely worth a visit, a classical, but beautiful fairy tale town.
