Jieshou is located at the junction of Songyang and Suichang, surrounded by mountains and rivers, with good feng shui. The village is nestled on the north bank of Songyin River, showing a belt shape. A complete ancient post road is preserved in the village. The post road is the main line. There are post stations, ancestral halls, academies, folk houses, Yuwang Palace, round arches, archways and other ancient buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties on both sides. In 2006, the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government announced Jieshou Village as the third batch of provincial-level historical and cultural villages. Although the village of Jieshou is small, it has outstanding people. Liu's surname is the surname of Jieshou, and his ancestor is Liu Jitong, who migrated from Qingtian in the early Ming Dynasty. The Liu Family Ancestral Hall was built in the early Qing Dynasty. In the courtyard in the middle of the ancestral hall, there is a theater pavilion, with flying eaves and tiles, arc vaults, and exquisite carvings. Looking around the ancestral hall, there are red paper imprints all over the wooden beams. It was the official post of the great news of the good news of the high school students in the village during the imperial examinations in the past, and now it has become a symbol of pride of the ancestral hall. According to an old man in the village, there was a beautiful stage outside the ancestral hall, which was demolished after liberation. Yuwang Palace, built in the Ming Dynasty, has a unique architectural style. The existing entrance hall of the Yuwang Palace was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The layout of the Yuwang Palace from south to north is the entrance hall, the head hall, the pavilion, and the main hall, with a total area of more than 1,000 square meters. It is a pity that, except for the foyer, the other three were burned to ashes by a fire in 1996. Today, although the Jieshou King Yu Temple Fair no longer exists, as a folk custom and folk cultural phenomenon, it still leaves a profound historical impact.
