The Gowell Monument is located in Bancroft Gardens in Stratford-upon-Avon. It consists of a square pedestal and the Gowell statue, which is presented in corresponding texts and later known to be an English poet in the 15th century. Unfortunately, many Chinese tourists see this statue and say it is Shakespeare. The Bancroft Garden where the monument is located is very beautiful and the natural environment is very good. It can take half an hour to walk in.
The Gore Peninsula monument is far from the main city and close to the canal, well preserved. What I like is the bronze statues and how they are depicted, especially Lady Macbeth, with a total of five statues depicting characters in Shakespeare's plays, worth a visit!
Interesting place, the memorial shows respect for culture and for ancestors.
