Personal Feelings
This one-day tour of Mount Taishan is simply unforgettable for me🥳! Starting from Hongmen, the scenery and monuments along the way constantly surprised me. The tranquility of Doumu Palace, the magnificence of Zhongtianmen, and the steepness of the Eighteen Bends, each place made me deeply feel the charm of Mount Taishan. When I finally climbed to the Jade Emperor Peak and looked down at the continuous mountains, my heart was filled with shock and pride. And the unique atmosphere of Tianjie Street added a unique color to this journey🌈. But to be honest, climbing the Eighteen Bends was really super tiring, and I felt like my legs didn't belong to me anymore😫. And the prices on the top of the mountain are relatively high, so I was a little bit distressed about my wallet when buying things👛. But these small episodes do not affect the sacred position of Mount Taishan in my heart at all. Its majestic, magnificent, and historical heritage deeply attract me, making me feel that all the hard work is worth it.
Mount Taishan is really a magical mountain that you don't want to leave once you come, and you want to come again after you leave. If you also yearn for a trip full of challenges and beautiful scenery, then come to Mount Taishan, I believe you will be conquered by its charm😃!
Doumu Palace is the first temple on the winding road of Mount Tai. It reaches Gaolao Bridge in the north, Wanxian Tower in the south, the winding road in the west, and Jian River in the east. It has a long history and wonderful scenery. There are also many shops on the roadside for tourists to rest. The Wolonghuai in Doumu Palace and the stone inscriptions nearby are all good places to visit.
Traveling to Shandong, this stop came to Tai'an City, climbing Mount Tai and visiting the Mount Tai tourist scenic area. Doumu Palace is located to the north of Wanxian Tower on Mount Tai. It is impossible to trace when it was first built. It is now a Taoist temple on Mount Tai. It was rebuilt during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty and then renamed Doumu Palace. In the early years of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, it became a nunnery. Doumu Palace is the most secluded place in the Mount Tai scenic area. Its ancient name is "Longquan Temple". It was built by the stream and is divided into three courtyards: north, middle and south.
Doumu Palace, also known as Doumu Palace, is a temple you will encounter when climbing Mount Tai from Hongmen. The temple is not big, but it has a quiet environment. It also provides water services. You may want to take a look inside during the climb.
Climbing Mount Tai from Hongmen, the first scenic spot after Wanxian Tower is Doumu Palace. There are many tourists here, and there are many who burn incense and worship Buddha here to pray for peace. Because I came to play, no tour guide, do not know the origin of Doumu Palace, but the huge Taishan Fuding and that spectacular bronze lock, impressive. In fact, from Wanxianlou to Zhongtianmen are mostly temples, Doumu Palace is just the beginning.
Doumu Palace was seen on the way to Hongmen, which is a relatively good small group of temple buildings. However, when passing through the gate, it was known that a lot of renovation work was being done in it, so it can not be entered at present. There is also a big tripod outside the palace gate. The time of its establishment is not known. It was renovated in the Qing Dynasty.
Entering Mount Tai through the Red Gate, you will soon see the Doumu Palace on the right. This is the only Buddhist temple on the central axis of the mountaineering route along Mount Tai. It smells a bit like paint now, and there are two historical relics and buildings inside. It's okay to take a look while climbing.
