We took metro to the XianShen Station to see the world famous 101. We took pictures of 101 from afar and walked about 7 mins to the building. There is a shopping mall in 101. The top 2 level of the malls are for luxury brands. The second and ground level are stores of popular brands. Food court is at the basement level. You can walk to the metro station from the basement level. You can get tickets directly from their counters on the 5th floor of the taller building (most of the mall was actually housed in the shorter building right next door). Many people mentioned there being a long queue, but there was zero queues when we visited on a weekday afternoon. Worth visiting both 89th and 101th floor - since you're already there, might as well experience it all. There's an outdoor floor called Skyline460 where you're secured using safety ropes and carabiners... for the more adventurous. If you want fabulous views of Taipei and a fast elevator ride, don’t miss it.

#thingstodo During a spontaneous visit to the Taipei 101 observatory deck, I found ticket purchasing to be incredibly smooth thanks to the convenient self kiosk, allowing me to bypass the long queues at the manned counter. The journey to the highest floor was delightful, with the lift's dimmed lighting creating a starry night ambiance. Arriving around 5 pm, the observatory deck was bustling with visitors eager to witness the sunset. Despite the crowd, we were fortunate to capture a breathtaking view of the sun setting over Taipei, leaving me in absolute awe of the panoramic scenery. #tripblazers #tripmoments

Tapei(Taiwan) is finally open to travellers after a long closure due to covid, and those who want to head to Taiwan I do recommend to go NOW! Simply because there are lesser tourists than before! And of course while visiting Taiwan, who doesn't drop by the Tapei 101 tower right? Standing at 508 meters with 101 floors, tourists are able to head up to the top for a panoramic view. But due to work issues we headed up only to level 35, where it looks newly constructed with a nice sky lounge, a sky cafe and several meeting rooms with some privacy.
