The area where the "Kuroshima Visitor Center" stands seems to be the site of the bansho, and except for the building, it was a square with lawns. The information board indicating the site of the bansho was installed facing the road side instead of the premises, so that it could be seen from the outside.

In front of the Kuroshima Visitor Center, which is also a tourist spot, there is a bansho, but now there are only monuments left, so you can't feel the remnants. The green lawn square is spreading, and there are many trees 々 around, so you can hear the cry of Akashobin in the morning.

I went to March 2019. It is the site of an old government office on the premises of the Kuroshima Visitor Center. Currently, there is no building left, something like a small shrine stands, and the commentary board has an explanation of the historic site designated by Taketomi Town. It is a relic of the time when it was under the control of the Satsuma domain.

芝生の広場

ビジターセンターの前にある、広い芝生のお庭ですが、ここは史跡になっているそうです。 夕方になると子供たちの遊び場になっていますが、モニュメントや歴史案内板があり、今にその歴史を伝えています。

今でいう役場

島にある数少ない史跡のひとつで、黒島ビジターセンターのところにあります。 八重山が薩摩藩の統治下にあった時代の行政機関で、役場的な存在だったようです。 歴史的に何か残されたものがあるわけではなく、そんな所だったんだよという案内看板があります。
