This shrine is famous for "fighting Mikoshi "
If you want to come to here, I recommend you on third weekend at October! Because "Mikoshi festival" is held at that time (pm 8:00 is best time) I just joined the Mikoshi as a member, I was very surpr...
If you walk through the cityscape of Sasayama, you will find the approach. After passing the vermilion torii gate and passing the Zuijinmon gate, you will enter the precincts. The precincts are large, but there aren't many buildings that stand out. The building like a warehouse on the far right of the shrine is actually a Noh theater, an important cultural property. There is a small peeping window, and you can see the inside by opening the lid. I would like to see this door open at Kasuga Noh in spring.
It is a common name, and there are many shrines with the same name nationwide and in Hyogo Prefecture.
Original Text
It is a shrine with a common name that is almost impossible to distinguish only by Kasuga Shrine. It seems unavoidable that the word-of-mouth page is adopted here as Sasayama Kasuga Shrine. I have visited here several times, but the precincts are scattered with murky scenery, and the "Noh stage", which has been designated as an important cultural property, is tightly closed and it is pitch black even if you look through the peeping window. I can't see anything. It was a shrine that was not worth it even if I went.
JR When you take the bus from Shinoyamaguchi Station, there is a bus stop called "Kasuga Shrine", so when you get off, you will find it in front of you. It is said that it was built in the Heian period by receiving the spirit of Nara Kasuga Taisha Shrine. At the time of my visit, I was disappointed that I couldn't see the famous Noh stage covered with a rain door.
There is a Noh stage where you can look inside (peeping from the outside 〜). You can also get a red stamp, the shrine office was a little far away and it had a cozy atmosphere. And there is a stamp separate from the red stamp, so if you like stamps, please do.
