Abukuma Caves

I went to Abukuma Cave in Fukushima Prefecture, where you can enjoy autumn leaves and one of Japan's largest limestone caves. The limestone cave created by nature over the years is very impressive. Since the ground is wet, shoes that can be dirty and steep stairs are installed, so we recommend that you wear a comfortable dress.

Awuxudong is located in the village of Tiancun City, the huge stalactite cave that has a total length of 600 meters and took 80 million years to form. The Awuxu stalactites cave, which was discovered in the limestone quarry in Lushan in September 44, is full of kinds of stalactites and stalactites in the cave. The vast cave is called the "Yuangen Palace", "Dragon Palace" and "Moon World" in three layers. Tourists are like in the fantasy world. The most majestic landscape, the 'Hogen Palace', about 30 metres high, formed by groundwater erosion and fault collapse, covered with white stalactite rock, the scenery is unique and beautiful. There is a water-influenced stalactite cave near Awuxu Cave, which adds to the atmosphere of many adventures. I have been to Guilin's Reed Flute Rock, Qixing Rock, Hangzhou's Yaolin, Yixing's Shanju Cave, and thought that I had traveled all over the cave in wonderland, so that I went to Kyushu in summer, passed by Qiujitai, and saw the limestone terrain there, but did not enter Qiuji Cave, which is the largest bell milk cave in Japan. Awuxudong (あぶくまどう) in Tiancun City, Fukushima Prefecture was discovered by chance in 1969 when it was excavated with limestone, about 3,300 meters long, and is still under investigation.
