Even though it is a mountain, it feels like a small hill and anyone can go. It seems that it was named because it makes a ponpon sound on the mountain trail to Mt. Pompon, but I couldn't hear this sound unless I went to Mt. Pompon. This sound was more crisp than a bursting sound. I don't think there was a toilet.

Enter from the signboard in front of Nibushi Onsen. It feels like a hill even if you go to the mountain. Why is the Pompon Mountain Trail? It's because it's a mountain called Pompon when you walk. It is warmed by geothermal heat and crickets are ringing all year round. So even if you can snow in the middle of winter, you can hear the cry. I definitely want to come. It was less than an hour one way.
