The big cities of Morocco have gone a lot, and I personally feel that Tuan is very good, clean and tidy. The Palace Square is near the Spanish District, next to the church, there are soldiers guarding it, the soldiers are very friendly and answer our questions.

Tetouan is located in northwest Morocco, 46 km southeast of Tangier, 10 km from the Mediterranean coast. In the 9th century, the Ara dynasty fortified and built a fortress, which was destroyed by the Spaniards. In the 16th century, the Andalusian Moors lived here. It was occupied by Spain twice in 1860 and 1913 and returned to Morocco in 1956. Tetouan was once a Spanish colony, so the entire town, including architecture, food, lifestyle, and many other Spanish styles, left a mark on it. UNESCO World Heritage List as a Cultural Heritage Site in 1997
