The zoo is located in a very peaceful area of Thimphu town. The nature and mountain surrounding the zoo is beautiful. The air is out and fresh. It is a great place for relaxing and taking time off from big city life. The draw back about the zoo is only Takin is there. It is truly a unique animal but wish the zoo kept more animals like deers and peacocks.
