    It's like you're lost in a different space ...

I visited at Echigo-Tsumari "Echigo-Tsumari Art Festival". One of the works of Boltansky that I really wanted to see. It is an installation art using the former Higashikawa Elementary School, which was closed, and starts from the dark gymnasium. A wall is laid on the floor, a large number of benches and fans are lined up, and light bulbs flash. If you go upstairs through the dim corridor, you will find a classroom where lights flash like a heartbeat, a classroom with white cloth and acrylic boxes, and a classroom with countless mirrors. ...

I visited as part of the Earth Art Festival. I went without understanding the details, but Mr. Aikata seems to have been able to think about color 々, but I was just very scared. I think I would have turned back if I was alone. I will never go again, but is art like this?

I wanted to go very much.

Unfortunately it was closed. It is better to check the business hours in advance. I couldn't help it, so I took a picture in front of me. It's an elementary school.

    Mysterious な space

    Original Text

Art work using a place that was a school. There are various exhibits on each floor and each classroom, which are modern and strange, but somehow familiar and interesting.

    Absolutely recommended! Strong impact

Oh! And the tears gradually ... I was shocked. I don't know "What is it?" in the photo. When you step in, people and towns are born and thrown into a place of destruction. He was guided by the official bus tour of the Art Festival, and other closed schools are used for exhibitions and accommodation facilities. The art you see in the museum is not bad, but this is definitely good.
