Bridge across the ages!!
The Alcantra Bridge dates back to the Roman era. The bridge, spanning the Tagus River in Toledo, was rebuilt in the 10th century and repaired a few times since then. The graceful arches are great!
Awesome pedestrian only bridge into the old city of Toledo. If you walk up from the train station (an easy 10-15 min walk) this is what you see first. Take some photos!

We have devoted a whole morning to walk from the Porta del Cambron through the Ponte de San Martin to the Ponte de Alcántara and it has been wonderful.

I always saw the bridge from the bus when I went to the historic center but I never found a excuse to go down and visit it.
