Yaowang (The King of Medicine) Mountain

Yaowang Mountain is located1.5 kilometers east of Yaozhou District, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province. It is named Wutai Mountain. It is named after Sun Siqi, a famous medical scientist in the Tang Dynasty. It is named after Sun Siqi as the "Yaowang" by the folk. The mountains are beautiful, the forest resources are rich, and the environment is beautiful. The palace temples built over the past dynasties made Yaowangshan a famous medical shrine. Yaowang Mountain has more than 50 scenic spots in four major scenic spots, Nanxun, Beidong, Beilin and cliff statues, and 165 existing ancient buildings in Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Since the Northern Dynasty, there are 45 cliff statues, more than 300 monuments and stone towers in the past, and 13 stone and wooden archways in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The stone carvings are all over the mountain, colorful, and are the most preserved places in China in the Northern Dynasty and Sui and Tang Dynasties.

When I went there, there were very few people, three or two, the weather was very hot, but it was also cool. Sun Siqi's book "Thousands of Jinfang" spread for ages. This is also the place where the medicine king Sun Siqi picks medicine. Although various halls and temples are reconstructed, the molla cliff is like the original appearance of the site. This is worth seeing.

Yaowang Mountain is composed of five rolling mountains, each peak is relatively flat, become the construction base of the mountain monuments here, because of the five arch stand, so in the Song and Ming period is also called Wutai Mountain. The monuments on the mountain of Yaowang are mainly distributed from north to south. There are ancient monuments such as the Yuan Dynasty Hall murals and the Yao Wang hand plant cypress in the south mountain of Yaowang Mountain. The "Dynasty Map" in Yuan Palace is the earliest preserved murals in Shaanxi. In addition to Yuan Palace, there are also seven temples, Golden Palace, Yaowang's seclusion places and other sites. Tourists who go to visit must not miss it. These places are also worth exploring.
