免费的公园，环境很好，里面有一些小孩子玩的游乐设施，价格也不贵。车子不能开进去，只能在外面找个位置停。湖水很清澈，夏天乘凉好去处。

去铜陵出差，从天井湖路过，朋友说一定进去看看，因为天井湖水面比周围的高出一米，这是比较少见的，铜陵是个不大的城市但给人比较舒适的感觉。

1972年，天井湖正式开园，以堤山自然分割为东湖、南湖和北湖，三湖水面通连，湖中有一口“上通天，下通海”的井，名曰天井。
