Stepping into Casa Loma is like traveling through time, back to the early 20th century and the European Middle Ages. Built over 100 years ago, this private castle, meticulously crafted by the then-wealthy Canadian, Sir Henry Mill Pellatt, boasts a magnificent exterior that is enough to leave one in awe. Constructed from sturdy sandstone, the castle's thick, imposing walls and tall, pointed towers exude a strong fairytale charm, resembling the dwelling of giants in a fairytale world, captivating all who behold it.💖

The stables in the underground tunnels showcase the history of carriages and harnesses from the early 20th century, offering a glimpse into the unique flavor of that era. The gardens outside the castle are even more breathtaking in spring and summer. Under the bright sun, colorful flowers bloom in vibrant competition, surrounding the 5.5-acre garden that encircles the castle. Against the backdrop of flowers, the castle's grandeur becomes even more striking. This is truly a perfect spot for taking photos, each one imbued with a romantic and dreamy atmosphere.🌸

The moment you step into Casa Loma, you're transported back to the days of the aristocracy of the early 20th century. Climbing the spiral staircase to the tower is a bit leg-wrenching, but it's well worth it—the rooftop view offers breathtaking views of the Toronto skyline. The underground wine cellars and secret passageways are truly adventurous, and I can't help but imagine the banquets the owners once hosted there. However, some of the furniture in the rooms looks a bit worn, and the signage is a bit blurry. My favorite part is the garden, where the roses are in full bloom in the summer, and it's so relaxing to sit on a bench and just relax. If you enjoy historical architecture and photography, this is a great place to take photos!
