Established in honor of Japanese scholars, it opened to the public in 1960. The entire garden project was completed by a Japanese architect, with Japanese maples, cherry blossoms, Japanese potted plants, artificial lakes and pavilions and tea houses exuding the exquisiteness and depth of the oriental gardens.
