A short hike
Not the most impressive waterfall in the world, but it is a short hike. If you are on Blue Ridge Parkway in the Asheville area, it is not bad to see.
Short hike, not much water flowing
The trail wasn’t marked so we weren’t sure exactly where to start. We parked in a lot and crossed the road to a trailhead. The walk wasn’t long or challenging but once we arrived at the water we weren...
Lots of changes
This used to be an amazing place to hike to but with rains, flooding, and other natural changes it is not as beautiful as it used to be. Still, even with these changes it is a nice walk.
Nice hike to the falls
It is a moderate rocky hike to the waterfalls. It is slippery in some place. This a popular place for swimming location, lots of young people.
Nice short hike
A storm washed away the bridge a month or so back so you couldn’t get down to the water. About a half mile down there, not a rugged hike. The trail has rocks and tree roots so be careful if it’s wet.
