Worth the day trip from Dublin or stopping from Dublin to Galway
Great views of the surrounding area - the biggest Anglo-Norman castle in Ireland was awesome. The guided tour is a must - learned a bunch of Norman history and Irish history in it.

Great views. Very informative guide - Margaret is a treasure. She is brilliant. Knows the history of Trim Castle and gets everyone involved and interested. This is worth a visit and costs less than €5
