駐車場と建物の北側に数台のだんじりが展示してあります。凝った彫刻で立派です。建物自体は広い畳敷きの立派なもので、ふすまがきれいです。

津山の古い町並みの一角に！

古い町並みが残る小京都津山の城東地区の一角にある無料休憩所です。箕作阮甫旧宅や津山洋学資料館から少し離れているので、通りすぎてしまいそうになります。ゆっくり津山の町を歩きながら散策するには格好の場所です。

[重要伝統的建造物群保存地区・城東]内に　平成5年（1993）復元された建築物なので　建築物としては面白みに欠けるかも知れませんが　内部の大広間に城東地区の画家・河野磐（いわお）による[丹後山の雪景色]と[中国山地の花々]（6双両面襖絵、添付　写真参照）があり、[中国山地の花々]内に[2匹のｶﾏｷﾘ]も描かれており　この[2匹のｶﾏｷﾘ]探しをやると　こちらを訪問された際　面白さが倍増しますのでお...

The Joto district of Tsuyama City is a quaint townscape designated as a Judenken. Sakushu Joto Yashiki is a free resting place that restores the townhouses of the Edo period. The tasteful appearance, the white-walled warehouse next door and the fire watch turret are also eye-catching. It seems that it was also used as the location of the final work of the "Otoko wa Tsuraiyo" series, and there was a stone monument.

It is a free rest area, and about 4 cars can be parked. The exhibition and sketch of the danjiri inside felt the local culture like Tsuyama. It was impressive with a short stop.
