The entrance may be a little difficult to understand. Enter from the side of Senkensha. It is 600 meters from there to the top. It is a paved road up to 200 meters to the top. From there, the end is not paved. It's a good idea to wear shoes that can get dirty, such as sneakers. There is a little forest-like place beyond 200 meters to the top. Is there really a castle in the future? I think. Walking in the dark ...

I climbed from the narrow road right next to Senkensha. It is very well maintained. Kuruwa, Horikiri, and stone walls are wonderful. The view from the castle tower ruins is wonderful. I could see the tiles from the place where it was dug up. It was in the era of Genna and Tokugawa, and it was abandoned in only 30 years after renovation. It's a waste.

I feel that many castles have been selected as one of the 100 Continued Japanese Castles. Uda Matsuyama Castle is also a scenic mountain castle. However, it doesn't have much trouble climbing. The only climbing road that can be used as of April 2019 is the road that entered the side road of Senkensha near the roadside station. The road from there is paved to the middle, so it's easy. If you go up the stairs through the paved road, you can see horikiri and earthworks. If you climb to the main enclosure, you will see a nice view like Yamashiro. Since it is a castle that can climb with children, less 々 time is allowed ...
