Great stay, affordable
Clean CG, restrooms grounds! 10 minutes from Vernal. 45 minutes to Flaming Gorge Dam. 30 minutes to Dinosaur National monument. Full hookups at our site sewer too. Quiet.
The focus is water sports
A small but nice state park with a sole focus on water sports. The camp site are good but small. Th view is great.
Reservoir Empty
Due to apparent work on the dam, the reservoir is currently empty and basically dry land. Park facilities related to the reservoir are closed. So if you are planning on fishing, or recreating on the ...
Well run, nice place
We stopped for the day to fish at Steinaker so we used the facilities at the state park. It seems well kept and very functional. Lots of places to recreate. (On the downside, we didn't catch anythi...
Disappointing
We drove to the end of the road and there was no one at the entrance office. There is a boat launch that provides access to a beautiful small lake and there is a campground.
