Uji Bridge

The Uji Bridge, which spans both sides of Ujigawa, is a majestic and beautiful pure Japanese-style bridge, with a length of 153 meters, built in Dahua 2 years (646 AD), and is a long-standing bridge in Japan. At the west end of Ujigawa, stands the "Ujigawa Ji Shrine". Yuji Bridge Ji is the god of the long bridge, ancient Japanese thought that the bridge from the end to the other end of the connection, meaning from the present world to the other world, so, always regarded the bridge as the home of the soul.

Throughout its long history, there have been countless natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, and wars. But the bridges have been rebuilt every time, which shows that Yuzhi Bridge has been an important transportation site for Yuzhi.

Uji is really a pretty town. Even it’s raining today, but I still enjoyed the trip. You must need to try to matcha ice cream and noodles here if you are a matchaholic. The scenery at the Uji Bridge is unbelievable and I am sure the view will be much better on sunny days.
