Just met the cherry blossoms 🌸 The season will not be cold or hot. Very comfortable weather. The scenery is beautiful. It is very suitable for casual walks from Uji Station. The photos are good.
The city with the characteristics of matcha, the birthplace of the literary "Yuanshi Wuyu", the relics of the ancient battlefield, are full of Japanese history imprints! Eating matcha ice cream and drinking matcha coffee, not bad for every beautiful moment.
Take a bridge that connects the two sides of Ujigawa. There is an introduction next to Ujigawa: Ujigawa was first built in the second year (646) more than 1,300 years ago, and is the oldest bridge in Japan. Throughout its long history, there have been countless natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, and wars. But the bridges have been rebuilt every time, which shows that Yuzhi Bridge has been an important transportation site for Yuzhi.
Uji is really a pretty town. Even it’s raining today, but I still enjoyed the trip. You must need to try to matcha ice cream and noodles here if you are a matchaholic. The scenery at the Uji Bridge is unbelievable and I am sure the view will be much better on sunny days.
