Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana

Both halls are works by Sansovino, who built the library in the mid-16th century. The front hall is the site of St. Mark's School of Humanities, and Bishop Aguilera donated his collection of Greek and Roman statues to the library. On the ceiling is the wisdom of large paintings, and it has a history of more than 400 years.

One of two famous buildings on both sides of the entrance to St. Mark's Square. The library was built in the 16th century and was built with the same double-arcade structure as the opposite Governor's Palace, but at a slightly lower height.
