The hotel is a very small, but very old church, located in the surroundings of the beautiful graves of the Scaligere.
Santa Maria Antica
The church was built at the end of the 12th century on the site of a more ancient building. During the Scaliger rule, it performed the functions of the palace chapel.

Die Kirche kann man "mitnehmen", wenn man die Scaliger-Gräber anschaut. Im Vergleich zu San Fermo, Dom, Sant'Anastasia bietet sie wenig, - ausser etwas Historie.
