A bit hard to find so worth a look during the day. It was an enjoyable and friendly evening but it was extremely busy. We had to queue up and then rotate and queue up for the next look but it's wort...
Only open on Friday nights and its free (gold coin donation). Volunteers travel from Roxby Downs (approx. 80kms away) to open it. The night we went the sky was magical. A must in Woomera.
We were not there on a Friday night but contacted the observatory via facebook and they opened it up for us. Josh spoke about the night sky and we got to see so much including Jupiter, Saturn, a blue ...
