Chu Style Garden, East Lake

Chufeng Park is located on the southeast side of Yuguang Village along the lake, covering an area of ​​about 4.2 hectares. It is only a hundred meters away from the gate of Liyuan in Tingtao Scenic Attraction of ​​East Lake Scenic Area, and is located on the bank of East Lake, a national scenic Attraction. Chufeng Park is close to the mountains and water, and is a theme park integrating sightseeing, leisure and entertainment. There are Chu culture sculptures such as "Fifty-one Animal Screens", Mandarin Duck Beans, and Begging for Rain in the park, and Hubei native plants such as lotus, orange, mulberry, and wild osmanthus are planted.
The gate of the garden is composed of a pair of wood carvings and painted "Yuanyang Beans". There are large reliefs "Fifty-one Animal Screens" and stone arch bridges, lotus viewing pavilions, and plants with Hubei local characteristics such as Fraxinus chinensis, Crape Myrtle, Plum Blossoms, Ginkgo, etc. in the garden. The hydrophilic platform is 720 meters long and 3.5 meters wide. The platform is paved with Ruiqing stone and bench-style retaining walls. The side facing the lake is equipped with cast iron railings with strong Chu cultural characteristics and Chu cultural characteristic patterns. The scenic spots along the lakeside of Chufeng Garden form an organic whole with points and lines, which can basically cover 1/3 of the beauty of the entire East Lake. You can see Moshan and the former Chu People Carnival Island (now East Lake Ocean World). It is also adjacent to Jiunvdun and is rich in history and culture.
Since Chufeng Garden is located near Yuguang Village and is only a hundred meters away from the gate of Liyuan, it is an organic part of the extension of Tingtao Attraction in terms of both geographical environment and cultural landscape. The overall layout of Chufeng Garden is relatively simple compared to Tingtao Attraction, but its landscaping, topography, landform and vegetation complement the characteristics of Tingtao Attraction, and its scenic features tend to be more folk-oriented, thus forming an extended organism of Tingtao Attraction.
