3 days and 3 nights, Wuhan is a city that you will miss after leaving
February is not the best season to visit Wuhan.
Starting from Zhejiang, as a working person, I could only make good use of the night time✈️. Compared to the 7-8 hours by high-speed train🚅 to Wuhan, taking a flight✈️ is still a better choice to save time.
Overall feeling: In Wuhan, it is still a bit exhausting to travel between different districts, and it's a pity that the short time doesn't allow for a full experience of the city. I could only choose to remember the beauty of this place within the limited time. Since I was there, I chose to visit the places I wanted to see; the food culture of a city is an important way to get to know and remember it, so it must be fully experienced.
🏠For accommodation, I chose a place near the subway station on Hanjiang Road, which was convenient for getting around.
Day1️⃣ Li Huangpi Road—Shanhaiguan Road (food)—Hankou River Beach—Gude Temple—Hanjiang Road Pedestrian Street—Xiaomin's Food Stall
A day of city walk, I had hot dry noodles in the morning, and the randomly chosen ones were still delicious! I walked around Li Huangpi Road, then went to Shanhaiguan Road nearby for lunch. The lotus root soup was super tasty, and the stir-fried shredded beans were a new experience worth trying. Soda bao, fresh fish paste soup noodles... We overate there, then went to Hankou River Beach, followed by Gude Temple, which was crowded! In the evening, I went to Hanjiang Road Pedestrian Street, didn't queue for too long, and had a drink at Cha Yan Yue Se. For dinner, I went to Xiaomin's Food Stall, where we ordered four dishes for two people and couldn't finish them all, but still wanted to order more! The chicken feet were soft and sticky, very delicious, but the dishes were quite spicy, so those with sensitive stomachs should be careful⚠️. I wanted to order crab leg noodles, but they were sold out when I got there😿. Later, I ordered a takeout from the hotel, and it was still very tasty!
Day2️⃣ Yellow Crane Tower—Dacheng Road—Hubei Provincial Museum
For breakfast, I had takeout shaomai and tofu skin, which were delicious! A must-try! After visiting the Yellow Crane Tower, I went to Dacheng Road for lunch. I had lunch at Xiaoqiu Dumplings, and there were many other food options around! After eating, I went to the Hubei Provincial Museum, which I had booked in advance, and even the performances inside required advance booking! It was amazing. In the evening, I ate at the snack street, and after returning, I also ordered crab leg noodles for takeout, which was stunning.
Day3️⃣ Casual stroll—Return trip
In the morning, I casually strolled around and ate, then bought some Lengji marinated flavors to eat on the way, highly recommended! I loved the marinated duck and sour beans!
I can't forget the unexpected walk over the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan, but it was still worth the visit. Other regrets will be saved for next time~

The place is amazing.
As a landmark pedestrian street in Wuhan, this is a must-go place in Wuhan. The pedestrian street is very long and it is very comfortable to walk. For us who often go shopping in Guangzhou, the focus is not shopping, but foraging. There are many centuries-old restaurants on the pedestrian street and around, such as Shunxiangju, Melting the kitchen. Every time I go to Wuhan, I live in Wuchang District. You can take the subway to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, or you can visit the Yellow Crane Tower, go to Zhonghua Road Wharf and take a ferry across the Yangtze River. From Wuhan Guan Line, pass the Jianghanguan Building to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street. Jianghanguan Building is very close to Jiangtan Park.
