Wuhan Chinese Stone Museum is adjacent to Guiyuan Ancient Temple, with Guqin Terrace to the north and Mo Shui Lake to the west. It has beautiful scenery and elegant environment. It is a foreign tourist attraction, a provincial civilized unit, a science popularization education base in Wuhan, and an extracurricular education base for young people in Wuhan. The architecture in the museum has a typical Ming and Qing style. It is an urban garden art exhibition hall with the main content of collecting and displaying various ornamental stones, paleontological fossils, mineral crystal specimens and bonsai, and the main function of enriching the popular science knowledge and cultural life of the general public. The museum has seven exhibition halls, collecting and exhibiting various types of strange stones at home and abroad: pictographic stones, abstract stones, texture stones, picture stones, text stones, outer stones, garden stones, paleontological fossils, mineral crystals and more than ten categories. Among them, the crystal stone weighing eleven tons is the largest in Asia; dozens of varieties such as Shenlong Green Stone, Three Gorges Stone, Painted Pottery Stone, Large Fossils, Grape Agate, etc. are all excellent collections; Confucius Bird, Large Ichthyosaur, Magic Dragon, Shovel-toothed Elephant, Parrot-billed Dragon and other fossils are all rare collections in the domestic stone collection circle. The museum's collections are among the best in the country in terms of quantity, variety and quality.
The Chinese Strange Stone Museum is indeed worth visiting Wuhan for people who travel to visit. Not only adults and children can grow their knowledge, but also the exquisite stones and animal fossils inside are very historical value and ornamental.
I thought there were only strange stones, and there were landscapes, crystals, and fossils to see. Much larger than expected, the environment is also very good, really very satisfied. (The oranges in the garden are so big, the mouth is looking at~
The Wuhan Strange Stone Hall found from Guiyuan Ancient Temple is opposite to Guiyuan Temple. There was no such attraction in the planned itinerary. It was still early to see the time, so I hurried to visit this tour. The whole museum is divided into four exhibition areas: the strange stone exhibition area, the fossil exhibition area, the mineral crystal exhibition area, the garden landscape area, the waiters are also very enthusiastic. It is worth a visit. Good choice.
