Wuhan Chinese Stone Museum is adjacent to Guiyuan Ancient Temple, with Guqin Terrace to the north and Mo Shui Lake to the west. It has beautiful scenery and elegant environment. It is a foreign tourist attraction, a provincial civilized unit, a science popularization education base in Wuhan, and an extracurricular education base for young people in Wuhan. The architecture in the museum has a typical Ming and Qing style. The museum has seven exhibition halls, collecting and exhibiting various types of strange stones at home and abroad: pictographic stones, abstract stones, texture stones, picture stones, text stones, outer stones, garden stones, paleontological fossils, mineral crystals and more than ten categories. Among them, the crystal stone weighing eleven tons is the largest in Asia; dozens of varieties such as Shenlong Green Stone, Three Gorges Stone, Painted Pottery Stone, Large Fossils, Grape Agate, etc. are all excellent collections; Confucius Bird, Large Ichthyosaur, Magic Dragon, Shovel-toothed Elephant, Parrot-billed Dragon and other fossils are all rare collections in the domestic stone collection circle. The museum's collections are among the best in the country in terms of quantity, variety and quality.
