Amazing Temple site
Amazing temple site, over 5,000 years old! It is the second oldest religious building on the planet and is older than the pyramids! One of the many ancient sites in Malta well worth a visit.
After you walk a bit you get to see the stones that are still standing. The size of the stones are breath taking, wondering how did they manage to move them let alone put them in that position.
Nice but not breathtaking as damaged beyond repair
The visitor's center is helpful enough in describing the temples and the ancient civilizations, but the actual temples leave much to the imagination and most interesting artefacts have been taken away...
