Tomb of the Living Dead

The tomb of the living dead is located in the Chongyang Chengdao Palace, 40 kilometers southwest of the ancient capital Xi'an. It is now in the town of Zuqiu, Qiu District, Xi'an City. There are also gravestones in front of the tomb pile with the words "the tomb of the living dead".

Those who have seen the "god-carved chivalrous couples" must be deeply impressed by the tombs of the dead and admire the god-carved chivalrous couples Yang Guo and Xiaolong Nv. The real Tomb of the living and dead is near the Chongyang Palace, where Wang Chongyang, the ancestor of Quanzhen religion, became Taoist. In the last century, experts unearthed the tomb path downward, and actually found it. Hopefully, the more advanced technology in the future will let us know whether there are any ancient tomb treasures under the tomb.

From Xi'an Railway Station to Chengnan Passenger Station, it takes about an hour to buy a bus to Huxian, and then to Chongyang Palace by bus No. 901 nearby. There is a small road beside Chongyang Palace to the tomb of the dead. I can go by the local tricycle, five yuan, a few minutes, or very close. It was a bit gloomy inside. When I entered it, I felt a little nervous. Only a kitten accompanied the tombstone.

I work hard for the tomb of the living dead, very, very niche attractions are even very down. It’s not the feelings of a little dragon girl when I was a child. I don’t think I will come here either. Our group of cyclists from Xi'an to Huxian Bell Tower are taking the country road to Wang Chongyang's palace and then to Zhongnanshan's tomb to visit. This tomb has been forgotten, overgrown, and the traces of the tomb are mottled! I hope that the people in the village will raise funds to repair it, and it is convenient for those who come to watch it!

I'm a local. The opening time here is very random, probably after 8 o'clock. If the evening comes, it's absolutely open. This is a quiet place. Wang Chongyang's real practice place has never been developed. The large mound of earth in the courtyard is the tomb of the dead. It looks like a mound of earth on the surface. In fact, it has been excavated before. There is a hole in it. I heard that the hole is too deep to see the bottom. Now it's just a mound of earth, but Wang Chongyang's spirit is still here.
