The General Mansion is a well-preserved building in the ancient city of the Republic of China. It is also called the former residence complex of the two former generals of the Republic of China in Liaoning Province, and the Shenyang Zhang's Shuai Mansion. The General Mansion has a unique architectural style and a courtyard house in the form of a combination of Chinese and Western.
General Yuan Chonghuan's mansion is unfortunately not the original reservation, but the imitation is not too distinctive. It feels very general, but it is worth seeing the life and achievements of Yuan Chonghuan.
古城内保存较为完好的民国时期建筑，建筑风格独特，算是中西合璧的四合院。
明末，后金努尔哈赤崛起，最终占领辽东。清朝统一后，辽宁称为奉天，旧都沈阳成了清朝版的南京，是祖宗灵寝重地。清朝知道本族人口少，所以严禁中原人进入东北，这也导致二百多万平方公里的东北地广人稀，沙俄能割占外东北，就和清朝的这项人口政策有关。
将军府又叫郜家大院，由東城门边往南走不久，就到将军府，旁边还有文庙及民俗博物馆。小小的一个四合院，旁边还有个花园，若非出了当地名人应该保存不下来。買了联票就来逛逛。
