This is the "National Registered Tangible Cultural Property", and I visited because it was a commemorative ｽﾀﾝﾌﾟ place for "Yamagata ｰ Building ｰ Times Emaki" obtained at the tourist information center in JR Yamagata Station. Reinforced school building in the early Showa period

It is the first elementary school building built with reinforced concrete in Yamagata city. It is across the road on the south side of Yamagata Grand Hotel. Inside, a renovated classroom that can be used for district exchanges and meetings. There is a tourist information center (pamphlet only) buried cultural exhibit exhibition room. There seems to be a small city in the front yard on Sundays. The tourist information center is located at the station Kasumi Castle Central, and there are many overlapping parts and there are no people in charge, so it may not be very useful. A valuable school building made of reinforced concrete in 1931

Yamagata Manabikan was built in 1945 as the first reinforced concrete school building in Yamagata Prefecture, and is now a registered tangible cultural property of the country. The interior was a cultural property exhibition room in Yamagata City, an information room in Yamagata, and a conference room, and a cafe, and the school was effectively used.
