St. Mary's Cathedral in Yangon is located in the center of Myanmar's capital Yangon. The church was built in 1895 and is a new Gothic-style building. It is the largest Catholic church in Yangon and one of the largest churches in Myanmar.
The church is beautiful and displays the British architecture left over from colonial times. It is right next to the Scottish market and is perfect for a short break in (you need a break after shopping in the hot weather). The picture in front of the entrance to the cathedral says the church will open at 2pm. But without any notice, they changed the visit to 3pm. Please note this.
Appearance is awkward, but in the face is a shadow. I will think I will go to left Europe
Walking here when you have time is a good choice!
It was a colonial building, and it looked magnificent.
St. Mary's Cathedral in Yangon was built in 1895 and is the largest Catholic church in Yangon. There have been many British priests preaching here. The exterior of the church is made of red masonry, two minarets, and the interior glass is full of statues of Jesus. But because it is too transparent, the ordinary mobile phone is not good. It is very quiet inside, and there is no one when there is no mass.
