Mituo Temple

Mituo Temple is also the only Buddhist temple in Penglai Pavilion. It is dedicated to the Buddha of Amitabha, also known as the Receiving Buddha. On both sides, there are Huiyuan Masters and Guangong Temple. It was built earlier than Penglai Pavilion and was built in the Tang Dynasty.

Mituo Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty and is the only Buddhist temple in Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area. In the eleventh year of Ming Wanli (1583), the Buddhist monk Lushan Deqing (one of the four Zen monks in the late Ming Dynasty) came to Lushan, Shandong to preach, including 12 years of hardships and hardships, and finally realized his thoughts of Confucianism, Shi, Tao and three religions, each ancestral progress, and Zen Jingxiu. His disciples were everywhere because of the advanced ideas of Buddhist innovation, which represented the Buddhist world in Lushan and Jiaodong. At this time, the incense of the Mituo Temple in Penglai Pavilion was restored and gradually expanded to its current size. Mituo is a shorthand for Amitabha, one of the three holy Western holys (the three holy Western refers to Amitabha, Guan Shiyin, and the general trend). Mituo Temple is a temple dedicated to Amitabha.

Entering Penglai Pavilion, the first small attraction of the ancient building is Mituo Temple, Mituo Temple is not big, but the trees inside are shaded, very artistic, inside can also be incense praying, the temple is not big, the victory is very strong.

弥陀寺在蓬莱阁景区里，几乎是进入景区看到的第一个景点。这里也是团队必来的地方，坐在门口长椅上休息了几分钟，看到了好几波团队进去参观。我们也进去看了下，感觉和其他的寺庙没什么不同，只是游客或者香客多了一些而已。

蓬莱阁景区里的又一个寺庙。话说这里这种大大小小的寺庙也有三四个以上了。冬天是旅游淡季，所以都没什么人。即使当天是元旦也是农历十五。寺里的工作人员，会围上来让你上头柱香，还有一套顺口溜俏皮话，商业气息太浓了。
