Great views
It is only a 2.5 km hike from Yarmouth or you can drive to the lower part of Bunker Island and hike close to the lighthouse.
CHARMING!
If you love lighthouses, then you must travel here. Beautiful location and area. We totally enjoyed the breezy, fresh air and walk around the area. Beautiful scenery in all directions.
Nice place for a walk
Bunker's Island is a nice place to walk. It branches off from the railroad track walking trail. It's a nice easy walk and has a beautiful view of the harbor.
Quiet and accessible
We found this by accident. Access is not for those not in a truck or four by four. The views are amazing. We saw a seal and enjoyed tranquility.
Beautiful Lighthouse and Worth the Short Drive
Great history behind this lighthouse. Can easily drive up to view it and also history information about it is located all around the area.
