The Lulu Temple near Qishu Lake in Hongcun, Jixian County was originally built in Tang Huichang for 3 years (843 AD). It was a large-scale Zenmen ancient temple at that time. It was already more than 5 pm when we drove to the Lulu Temple. When we came, the temple gate was closed, but friends did not give up. Because the ancient temple has been damaged over the years, the current Lulu Temple began to rebuild in 2003. I feel very grand. The building also maintains the characteristics of Tangfeng Huiyun. The traffic is not very convenient. If you are not driving, you can take the bus to and from Hongcun to Jixian County and walk under Qishu Lake for more than 20 minutes. Minutes to reach Jixian County, take the car directly to Hongcun for about 30 minutes, get off at Lingtou Station. Then walk 20 minutes to the monastery.

The history of the Lulu Temple can be traced to the Tang Dynasty. The old site collapsed due to the long disrepair. Today, the temple is rebuilt by Zhongxu Group without compensation in 2003. It is located in the Gulingshan Bay, about 3 kilometers away from the Hongcun World Cultural Heritage Site, near the Huangshan Qishu Wonderland Zhongxu International Hotel. It takes about ten minutes to walk from the hotel and no tickets are charged. The temple building has a typical Tang Dynasty charm, grandeur, strict layout, handsome but not public, simple but not rigid, just like the spirit demonstrated by the dynasty, mainly divided into religious living areas, meditation areas and school garden areas. The nine-story Luohan Tower inside is very high, and it is overlooked. In the distance, Qishu Lake is like a mirror. It is surrounded by green trees and the temple of Lulu Temple is scattered and blended in the natural ethereal spirit. The biggest feature of the temple is meditation. It is said that every summer, the temple will start meditation classes. When I went there, it was summer. I specially experienced it. Under the guidance of the temple such as a magician, we meditated cross-legged, meditation, vomiting and breathing. We were tired and sweating. After a few minutes of meditation, I suddenly felt the whole world suddenly cool, although it was because of the breeze in the evening, I think the relaxation of the heart is the biggest true feeling of our body and mind refreshing. There is also a vegetarian canteen at the Lulu Temple, which provides some simple vegetarian food. Everyone is very quiet when eating. The meditation of the temple gave me an unexpected surprise. I thought that the temple tours were all regular incense burning and worshiping Buddha. The preaching was the Buddha's doctrine. The temple, let us experience the essence of Buddhism, put down the world's right and wrong, and pursue the purity of the heart. The meditation creates this kind of Zen state of tranquility and far-reaching tranquility of the common things.

I like the temple very much. I didn't have a reservation so I didn't eat fast food, but I met the magician inside and invited us to drink tea, sent a lot of refreshments, and wrote calligraphy to send us. The Lulu Temple is not far from Hongcun. You can ride here by renting a bicycle at the door. But it should be noted that there are more up and down slopes here. Because it was already evening when I came here, I didn’t enter it. But from the outside, this temple has experienced re-building.
