Museum of Yitong Manchu Autonomous County

Yitong Manchu Museum is a museum that displays cultural relics handed down from Manchu folk customs. Its predecessor was the Yitong Manchu Folk Museum founded in 1987. The museum is located at No. 1129, Renmin Road, Yitong Town, Yitong Manchu Autonomous County, covering an area of 10,000 square meters and a building area of 5,800 square meters. Yitong Manchu Museum is a professional museum displaying Manchu history, culture and Manchu customs. Since its establishment 26 years ago, it has received nearly 600,000 visitors from all walks of life in China and friends from the United States, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Italy, Canada, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other countries and regions. Over the years, the museum has been successively named as a patriotism education base by provinces, cities and counties, and has been designated as an academic research base by the Jilin Provincial Academy of Social Sciences; in 2007, it was named as a national unity and progress education base by the National Ethnic Affairs Commission; A-level tourist attractions. In 2008, it was identified as "China Ethnic Museum Yitong Manchu Branch" by the National Museum of China.
