I was able to see the appearance freely.

Meiji 43 It is said that it is a Western-style wooden building with a nationally designated important cultural property and Renaissance style, which was built as the main building of the former Yonezawa Higher Technical School in the year. Is it about 10 minutes walk from Minami Yonezawa Station? I couldn't see the inside, but I was able to see the exterior freely. The entrance to the site is on the left and right centering around the front of the center, and there is no gate and I can enter freely to see the exterior. I was overwhelmed by a large corner building in the ridge. I felt it would be difficult to manage this building, but I think it is carefully managed. Also, site ...

I made a reservation in advance and visited the inside for about an hour, but I was able to see interesting things (however, the inside tour is only on weekdays 11:00 ~ 16::00, closed on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and winters. See attached photo). In the interior, the "plaster ceiling of the conference room" and "stairs" left an impression on me. For what kind of exhibition is being held inside, please refer to the exhibition room guide in the attached photo. As an example of my interest, [military receiver (mounted on wartime B29) 1938 ...

It's wonderful that this was a very nice building, a school. If I learned in such a nice Western-style building in the Meiji era, I am envious of my high ambition and the possibility of forming a fine personality. However, I was surprised to hear that the person who was designed was Japanese. It seems that the Yonezawa station building was designed based on this building. There was a monument to Samuel Ulman's youth, and I didn't read it on the spot, so when I looked it up and read it later, I was very impressed. Blue lighting for lighting up is installed ...
