Shentang Bay

神堂湾，坐落于湖南省张家界市场天子山自然保护区，是武陵源名胜区中的一大禁区，“宁过鬼门关，不下神堂湾”这句话一直在神堂湾当地民间流行着。神堂湾三面都是悬崖绝壁，只有一面山上有一道缺口，可向湾底俯瞰。你会产生一种神秘感。湾内深不见底，神秘莫测，有时霞光万道，瑞气煦煦，有时又阴风阵阵，雾雨绵绵。更令人惊奇的是，只要人走近湾边，耳际便会隐隐约约响起鸣锣击鼓、人喊马嘶的声音，似有千军万马正在鏖战。

神堂湾位于天子山南麓的—个天然桶状凹形巨大深谷，四周悬崖绝壁，谷底深不可测。神堂湾最美的是云海，每当雨后天晴，一座座石峰若隐若现，构成一幅幅蓬莱仙境画卷。

点将台出来，坐中巴往贺龙公园方向【10分钟】三面都是悬崖绝壁，只有一面山上有一道缺口，可向湾底俯瞰。这个景色区一样是奇峰密布，但独特之处是周围的绿色松树为这家界生色不少，构成了一幅美丽的画面。【神堂湾】一路上风景还是挺不错的，不亚于老屋场那里的风景。到了神堂湾，视野也相当开阔，风景很赞。

张家界国家森林公园的天子山景区中，有一处神奇的景点，叫神堂湾，据说走近可以听到深谷中，有千军万马的声音，好奇的去听了很久，没缘分，听不到。
